Cutting-Edge Technology for Next-Generation RF Systems
At IDDO, we focus on advanced technologies to provide high-performance RF and microwave solutions. Our expertise is centered around two primary technologies: the All-Digital Phase-Locked Loop (ADPLL) and Automotive Radar Systems, which are instrumental in driving precision and reliability in modern communication and sensing applications.
All-Digital Phase-Locked Loop (ADPLL)
The ADPLL is a key innovation that enhances the performance of phase-locked loops, enabling more precise and noise-resistant solutions for RF systems. Here are the main features of our ADPLL:
- Fully Integrated Design: Includes a Digital Controlled Oscillator (DCO) and a Fractional-N with noise cancellation, providing optimal frequency synthesis.
- High Performance: Operates at RF frequencies ranging from 19 to 20.25 GHz, with an impressive 2° RMS phase noise at 20 GHz and a lock time of 3 µs. This makes it ideal for applications in 5G, IoT, and radar systems.
- Advanced Tools: We use our proprietary time-domain simulator to simulate all significant effects, including phase noise through FFT, AM/PM effects, and temperature variations. This provides a unique capability for both DPLL and chirp generation.
Automotive Radar Technology
Our Automotive Radar Systems employ advanced radar technologies to provide high-resolution imaging capabilities for vehicles, offering:
- Chirp Generation and MIMO: The use of MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology allows the radar to achieve angular resolution equivalent to LIDAR performance but at only 5% of the cost. This technology works effectively in varied environmental conditions, such as rain and dust.
- Adaptive Front End Architecture: Features antennas, transceivers, and analog-to-digital conversion components designed to maximize performance. Our radar systems are versatile and adaptable to changing environments, thanks to in-house developeddigital PLL and chirp software
